  • Blizzard, part of Activision Blizzard, confirmed that World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will be released on September 25, 2012.

  • Nintendo released financial information for its fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2012. For the quarter, Nintendo reported a net loss of ¥17.231 billion (around $220 million), an improvement over a net loss of ¥25.516 billion in the same quarter the previous year.
