TERA Launches in the West

| | Comments (0)
En Masse Entertainment has launched its massively multiplayer online game TERA for the PC. An acronym for "The Exile Realm of Arborea," TERA has been operational in South Korea for some time, and now is Live in North America and Europe. The game promises an enhanced version of combat in which reflexes, aim and position determine success in combat (something that didn't work for http://www.frictionlessinsight.com/archives/2006/06/auto-assault-re.html or Tabula Rasa, among their other problems). Unlike so many of the recent free-to-play games, TERA actually requires a subscription, with game-time being tradable in-game is currency, in the manner of Eve Online.
