Electronic Arts Fires Large Fraction of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Team

Electronic ArtsGreg Zeschuk, of Electronic Arts' BioWare division, confirmed that it has fired staff previously working on Star Wars: The Old Republic. This article in the Austin American Statesman reports that EA confirmed some employees are being let go while others are being re-assigned to other projects.


UPDATE: Some rumored estimates place losses at around 200 people.
