| | Comments (0)
ZeniMax MediaIn August of 2007, Bethesda Softworks (part of ZeniMax Media) launched ZeniMax Online Studios, headed by Matt Firor (formerly of Mythic Entertainment). Since then, there's been a lot of speculation concerning ZeniMax Online Studios. Many expected to hear about a massively multiplayer online Fallout, and assumed that the stealthy operation was waiting for Bethesda and Interplay to settle their differences. Bethesda announced something a little different. ZeniMax Online Studios is hard at work on The Elder Scrolls Online (set in the same world as other Elder Scrolls games such as Skyrim. The game is being developed for the PC and Mac. If the upcoming MMOG interacted with Skyrim folks here would be looking forward to selling countless brooms, pickaxes and underpowered staves that have filled the chests in our various domiciles.
