Sony Brings More Games to the PlayStation Store

SonySony has updated the PlayStation Store with a variety of new content this week, including a new fighting game with "Skull" in the title, some older downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV and plenty of pinball. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City joins the portfolio of downloadable content this week. This is a compilation of Grand Theft Auto IV content (that doesn't require the original game), that was originally released in 2009. The compilation costs $16 and includes both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.


The Pinball Arcade can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or the Vita for $10. Published by Crave and developed by Farsight Studios, this is a compilation of classic pinball tables adapted for electronic play. Currently, The Pinball Arcade includes Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Theater of Magic, and Black Hole, with more tables planned for the future.

Shin Megami Tensei: Personal 3 FES, originally released for the PlayStation 3 can now be downloaded to a newer platform for $10, allowing players to balance high-school social life and a dungeon crawl.

Skullgirls, from Autumn Games and developer Reverge Labs, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This is a 2D fighting game that has "fierce female warriors" battling in a "Dark Deco" world. The development team includes several professional fighting game players, and the team hopes the game will become part of the fighting game circuit.

Treasures of Montezuma Blitz is a puzzle game that can be downloaded to the Vita for free.

World Gone Sour is a promotional game that can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $5. The game has players guiding Sour Patch Kids on their journey into the human stomach.

Finally, this week marks the released of the PSP mini Defenders of the Mystic Garden ($3.50)
