New York Works With Game Networks to Take Sex Offenders Offline

| | Comments (0)
As reported by NY1 (New York City's local news network), New York state has been working with a variety of gaming networks (including Microsoft and Sony's services) to block more than 3,500 accounts held by registered sex offenders. The state is working to stop convicted sex offenders from connecting with youths online through online gaming. This follows two past cases in which a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were lured into abusive situations after meeting a predator online.
