Mass Effect 3 Will Get a New Ending This Summer

Electronic ArtsBioWare, one of Electronic Arts' studios, has been coping for weeks with fan criticism of Mass Effect 3's ending. Today, BioWare announced that it will release free downloadable content this summer that will clarify the ending and give more information on each player's "personal journey." According to Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder and general manager of BioWare, "With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe."
