The PlayStation Store Gets Shanked by Gotham City Impostors

This week, the PlayStation Store adds several classic games, along with the sequel to a game that sounds like prison violence and a multiplayer shooter that decidedly does not feature Batman. Read on for the full list and more details...
Catherine, the dating simulation and sheep-themed platformer released by Atlus in July of 2011, can be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $40.

Gotham City Impostors can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This is a multiplayer shooter in which players battle while impersonating Batman and Gotham City villains.

The Jak and Daxter collection can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $40, and includes Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. Each of the individual platformers in the Jak & Daxter series can be downloaded for $15 and is a port of version released on the PlayStation 2, remastered for HD display.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, released in May of 2011, can be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $40. The game has players cooperatively reliving familiar events from the films while destroying everything in a shower of collectible Lego studs.

Shank 2, from Electronic Arts and developer Klei Entertainment, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. This sequel to Shank once again has players taking on the role of an ex-mob hitman battling his way through this side-scrolling 2D brawler.

The Simpsons Arcade Game is a port of the classic, coin-operated arcade game and can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. This brawler has players battling their way through eight Springfield locations to rescue Maggie from Mr. Burns.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $10. The game was originally released on the PlayStation 2 and, not surprisingly, features a brash sponge who lives in a pineapple (under the sea).

Top Spin 4, released by 2K Sports (a label of Take-Two Interactive) in March, 2011, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $30. This latest iteration of 2K Sports' premier tennis franchise was developed by 2K Czech and features a larger roster of professional players.
