A Second Week of Vita Titles Overwhelm the PlayStation Store

SonyIt's another week of updates for the PlayStation Store, but this week is different – the PlayStation Vita is released in much of the world at midnight tonight, so plenty of Vita games are joining the downloadable selection on the PlayStation Store. Many Vita games were already added to the Store last week, but even more join today. Read on for the full list and more details...
Army Corps of Hell from Square Enix can be downloaded to the Vita for $40. This action game has players taking on the role of the King of Hell and controlling an army of goblin soldiers in a quest to reclaim the throne of Hell.


Augmented Reality - Cliff Diving can be downloaded to the Vita for free, allowing players to use AR Play cards to transform your surroundings into high-diving boards.

Augmented Reality - Fireworks can be downloaded to the Vita for free and lets players light up the sky with virtual fireworks display.

Augmented Reality - Table Soccer is a free download for the Vita that lets Vita owners use AR Play Cards to transform a flat surface into a soccer stadium.

Ben 10 Galactic Racing can be downloaded to the Vita for $30. This kart-racing–style game based on the Cartoon Network series has players racing on around 25 tracks.

Dynasty Warriors Next can be downloaded to the Vita for $35, once again allowing players to enter this world of tactical action, facing off against thousands of enemies in melee combat with a single hero.

Hustle Kings can be downloaded to the Vita for $10, allowing Vita owners to use both the front and rear touchscreens to line up billiards shots to climb global leaderboards.

Mafia II, released in mid-2010, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $20. The game explores organized crime in America during the 1940s and 1950s.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus can be downloaded to the Vita for $35, giving Vita owners new controls with which to explore the Ninja Gaiden franchise and test their own reflexes.

Plants Vs. Zombies from EA's PopCap Games can be downloaded to the Vita for $15. Now, Vita owners have yet another platform on which playful plants can defend against an onslaught of comic zombie invaders.

Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen can be downloaded to the Vita for $25. This game continues the Shinobido series with players using ninja stealth to eliminate enemies and complete missions.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, released in October of 2010, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $20. This sequel continues the story of Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice who learns to use The Force with ever more power and grace.

Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack can be downloaded to the Vita for $8. This is a side-scrolling platformer with puzzle elements that has players controlling an omnivorous blog.

Touch My Katamari can be downloaded to the Vita for $25. This Katamari game slightly changes the shape of the franchise by allowing the prince to alter the shape of the Katamari as he rolls objects together into a sticky mass to replace celestial objects.

Also available this week are the PSP minis Hungary Giraffe ($3.50) and Touchdown Fever ($3).
