Sony Updates the PlayStation Store With More Downloadable Versions of Previously Released Retail Games

SonySony has released a new slate of downloadable games for the PlayStation 3. There's nothing much for the PSP, but there are quite a few retail games now available in downloadable form along with Amy and Zack Zero. Read on for the full list and more details...
Amy can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. Set in the year 2034, this survival/horror game from Lexis Numerique has players taking on the role of two characters trying to survive in and escape from an infected city plagued with walking corpses.


Cars 2: The Video Game, released in June of last year, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $40. The game expands on the storyline of the film, allowing players to take characters from the film and train to become automotive spies by driving and racing in locations around the globe.

Crysis 2, released early last year, can now be downloaded for $40. This first-person shooter has players defending a ravaged New York City from alien invaders following a series of natural and unnatural disasters. The game's story was authored by Richard Morgan and the game is built on the CryEngine 3 from Crytek with a new focus on vertical landscapes.

Ico, recently re-released in high-definition, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $20. The game has players helping a silent protagonist rescue a girl from a gorgeous fortress by solving a series of platforming puzzles.

Shadow of the Colossus, also recently re-released in high-definition, can be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $20, giving current gamers another chance to fell truly gigantic creatures.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $20. This shooter has players battling terrorism in Sin City.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $20. This entry in the Splinter Cell saga has players acting as both a terrorist and covert agent.

Zack Zero can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $13. The game has players guiding Zack Zero as he platforms through worlds as he battles the Zulrog to rescue his kidnapped girl, Marlene.
