SonyMost of this week's releases in the PlayStation Store are games previously released to retail stores now available as downloadable versions, but there are a few newbies, including notable release Trine 2. Read on for the full list and more details on each game...
Apples to Apples can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. Published by THQ and developed by ImaginEngine, this title is based on the physical party game in which players make various "Apples to Apples" (or not) comparisons.

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was released more than two years ago, but can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $30. Developed by Gearbox Software, the squad-based shooter explores the events of Operation Market Garden during World War II.

Centipede, as released on the original PlayStation, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $6. It has lots of plot: "Navigate the Shooter through dangerous lands as you attempt to eradicate the insect threat."

Just Cause 2, released nearly two years ago to stores, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $25, assigning players to track down a former agent who has gone rogue on the open-world-style island of Panau.

L.A. Noire can be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $32, giving players another way to acquire this detective game set in 1940s Los Angeles.

NCAA Football 12, previously released to stores, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $60. In this way, Electronic Arts offers all of the convenience of paying a lot of money many months after release, and none of the inconvenience of having a physical disc. Oh, yes... the game has mascots, too.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, previously released to retail stores, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $20. This particular Prince of Persia game has the Prince visiting his brother's kingdom and aiding in its defense against a besieging army.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 can now be downloaded directly to the PSP for $20, after its recent release to retail stores.

Sonic CD can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $5. This classic platformer has Sonic the Hedgehog platforming as fast as he can to recover Time Stones from the sinister Dr. Eggman.

Trine 2 can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This physics-based puzzle/platformer is the sequel to Trine and once again has a warrior, thief and mage sharing the same corporeal existence as they solve puzzles and battle goblins to cope with a colossal calamity.

Also available this week are the PSP Minis Orbit ($3.50), P.O.W.: Prisoners of War ($3) and Prehistoric Isle ($3).
