The PlayStation Store Gets Its New Weekly Downloadable Games

SonySony has released a new slate of downloadable games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP through the PlayStation Store. This week's releases include downloadable versions of retail releases and a classic JRPG. Read on for the full list of titles and more details...
Cars 2, also available in stores, can be downloaded directly to the PSP for $30, allowing players to experience the events of the recent Pixar film on the PSP.


Chrono Chross, released on the original PlayStation, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $10. The game is a sequel to Chrono Trigger and has players helping Serge find the Frozen Flame in this Japanese-style role-playing game.

Dead Space 2, previously released to stores, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $30. This sequel to Dead Space has Isaac Clarke awakening near one of Saturn's moons in the midst of a Necromorph outbreak, forcing him to endure and survive the horror by hacking off the limbs of alien undead.

Fight Night Champion can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $5. This story-based boxing game has players fighting as middleweight contender Andre Bishop.

Full Spectrum Warrior can now be downloaded for $10. Originally released on the PlayStation 2, this game has players commanding two fireteams in simulated combat.

Monopoly Streets, released last year, can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $30. This is a re-imagining of the classic Hasbro board game that lets players experience the world of Monopoly from street level.

Stuntman Ignition, originally released on the PlayStation 2, can now be downloaded for $10. The game has players driving through stunt sequences for films.
