Square Enix Six-Month Results Improve on Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Square EnixSquare Enix announced the financial results for the six months ended September 30, 2011 of its fiscal year ending March 31, 2011. Read on for more details...
For the six months ended September 30, 2011, Square Enix reported net income of ¥3.704 billion (around $50 million), compared to net income of ¥1.723 billion in the same period the previous year.


Square Enix noted that the improvement in the group's results was, in part, due to the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which Square Enix says shipped over two million copies. The company also emphasized that the company benefited from increased revenues on platforms including the web, smartphones and social networking services.
