Namco Bandai GamesNamco Bandai Games reported its financial results for the six month period ended September 30, 2011 (the first half of its fiscal year ended March 31, 2012). Read on for more details...
For the six month period ended September 30, 2011, Namco Bandai Games reported net income of ¥8.026 billion (around $100 million) compared to a net loss of ¥1.930 billion in the same period the previous year.


The company's Content division (that includes game sales) reported operating income of ¥5.369 billion compared to an operating loss of ¥2.600 billion in the same period the prior year. The company's top-selling game was Tales of Xillia, and that was the only title that even approached one million copies sold (at 780,000 units), with the next most successful game selling 380,000 units.
