Gameforge to Dismiss Nearly 100 Staff

Gameforge, the Germany-based developer and publisher of social and casual games, is reportedly firing around 100 staff (of nearly 450). Former Frogster founder and Chief Executive Officer Christoph Gerlinger is also departing the Gameforge. The company has halted development on Star Trek: Infinite Space, a planned free-to-play persistent online game set in the Star Trek universe.
