| | Comments (0)
Activision BlizzardActivision Publishing, part of Activision Blizzard, has released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to stores. One version of the game (developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games) is available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, while another version was developed by Treyarch specifically for the Wii. In all cases, the game takes place after the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, when events escalate into World War III. While the game contains a single-player mode, the bulk of the game is the multiplayer mode that integrates with Activision Blizzard's new "Call of Duty Elite" social network and that can be augmented through the purchase of junk food and carbonated beverages. There is even a version of the game called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Defiance that is available for the DS.
