NCsoft Fires Some Austin Staff

NCsoft, South Korean publisher of online games such as Aion, has reportedly laid off as many as 50 staff members in the company's Austin office. In an official statement, NCsoft confirmed that the staff (which was around 150 a bit over a year ago) is now at "over 100" employees. NCsoft also confirmed that some operations have been returned to the company's headquarters in Seoul, South Korea and "some publishing support has been reduced."
