Nintendo 3DS Was Selling Extremely Poorly

| | Comments (0)
NintendoNintendo was pleased to announce that after cutting the price of the 3DS on August 12, Nintendo sold around 185,000 3DS units during the rest of August, 260% more than approximately 70,000 units it sold during the comparable time frame in July. That's a nice increase, but it really emphasizes how badly the 3DS was selling before the price cut. Even after the price cut, the brand-spanking-new 3DS didn't sell the more than 190,000 units that the around five-year-old Wii sold in the same month. It's increasingly clear that the admittedly cool 3DS is a solution in need of a problem.
