Sony Releases New Downloadable Games Through the PlayStation Network

SonySony has released a new group of downloadable games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP through the PlayStation Store. This week's downloads include a role-playing game of epic scale, a riff on a coin-op classic and a Warhammer 40,000-themed shooter, among others. Read on for the full list and more details...
Dragon Age: Origins can now be downloaded directly to the PlayStation 3 for $30, allowing PlayStation 3 owners to experience this apocalyptic role-playing game without needing a physical disc.

Galaga Legions DX can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10, featuring a modernized twist on the classic coin-operated game Galaga.

Section 8: Prejudice can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This science-fiction-themed online first-person shooter supports cooperative play and competitive multiplayer matches. All of this is on top of short campaign in which players uncover new threats to humanity's survival.

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team from THQ can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. The game has players taking on the role of a Space Marine assaulting an Ork Kroozer on its way to destroy an Imperial Forge World. This arcade-style shooter features two-player co-operative play for those who want to exterminate the Kroozer with a friend.

Also available this week are the PSP minis One Epic Game ($4) and Monochrome Racing ($5).
