NCsoftNCsoft has released preliminary, unaudited financial results for its first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2011. Read on for more details...
For NCsoft's first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2011, the company reported net income of KRW 40.778 billion (around $38 million) compared to net income of KRW 58.237 billion in the same quarter the previous year.

The contribution of games in North America has become largely insignificant to NCsoft. Aion contributed 44% to sales, apparently doing poorly in North America but enjoying strong sales in China. Lineage provided 28% of sales (but is obviously performing poorly in the West, since NCsoft is shutting down Western Lineage servers. Lineage II contributed 22% to sales, while Guild Wars and City of Heroes each contributed around 2% of sales.
