Namco Bandai Reports Third-Quarter Profit

Namco BandaiNamco Bandai announced the financial results of its fiscal third quarter ended December 31, 2010. Read on for more details...
For its third quarter ended December 31, Namco Bandai Games reported net income of ¥3.673 billion (around $45 million), compared to a net loss of ¥11.744 billion in the same quarter the previous year. The bulk of the company's income is coming from video games, toys and hobby-related products. Namco Bandai's other operations contributed minimally to the company's results.


The company's best-selling game over the last three quarters has been Tekken 6 (selling 1.08 million copies). Ben10: Ultimate Alien, God Eater Burst, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Gundam Musou 3 have all sold between 430,000 and 490,000 copies.
