More Downloadable Games Reach the PlayStation Store

Sony has released a new slate of downloadable games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP through the PlayStation Store, including a new Bionic Commando game and an old Mega Man game. Read on for more details...
Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $30. This version of Assassin's Creed II includes all the downloadable content released for this third-person stealth/action game integrated into the original game.


Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 from Capcom can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This is another retro-style side-scrolling platformer in which Nathan Spencer swings around on his bionic arm.

Mega Man 2, released on the original PlayStation, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $6, allowing players to help Mega Man defeat Dr. Wily's Robot Masters

Samurai Showdown can be downloaded to the PSP for $7. Previously released on the NeoGeo, this fighting game includes weapons and exotic fighters.

Tales from Space: About a Blob can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This side-scrolling puzzle/platformer follows a race of alien blobs looking for their next meal.

The UnderGarden can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. Developed by Vitamin-G, this platformer has players solving physics-based puzzles to pollinate plants in a lush, underground world and was previously released for the Xbox 360 and PC.

Also available this week are the PSP minis Wackylands Boss ($5) and Pac-Man Championship Edition ($5).
