Electronic Arts Reports Larger Third-Quarter Loss

Electronic ArtsElectronic Arts announced its preliminary financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2010. Read on for more details...
For the quarter ended December 31, 2010, EA reported a GAAP net loss of $322 million, compared to a net loss of $82 million in the same quarter the previous year.

EA also announced that the company's board of directors has authorized a share repurchase program allowing the company to repurchase up to $600 million of the company's common stock, indicating that the company believes its stock is undervalued.
