Even More Downloadable Games Released for the PlayStation 3 and PSP

Sony's first set of downloadable games for the new year are now available for the PlayStation 3 and PSP through the PlayStation Store, including puzzle games ranging from the classic to the surreal and the ability to wage war against Nazis or microscopic biomechanical invaders. Angry Birds can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $4. This bird-hurling game that took the iPhone by storm is now available on Sony's platforms.


Arc the Lad III, released on the original PlayStation, can be downloaded for $6, once again allowing players to become a legendary hunter.

Auditorium can now be downloaded to the PSP for $10. The puzzle game has players transforming light into sound.

Four Hot Shots Shorties packs are now available for the PSP, at $5 apiece or $15 for the package. Each pack is a collection of mini-games set in the Hot Shots universe.

Legends of War: Patton's Campaign can be downloaded to the PSP for $20, allowing PSP owners to become General Patton commanding the U.S. Third Army through 35 missions.

MicroBot, developed by Naked Sky Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. Released late last year for the Xbox 360, the game has players participating in arcade-style shooting inside a host battling a biomechanical infestation.

The NeoGeo Station PS3 Bundle Pack, containing the NeoGeo games previously released on the PlayStation Network, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $80.

Reloaded, released on the original PlayStation, can be downloaded for $6.

Ricochet HD, a traditional block-busting game with power-ups and high production values, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $8. The price will (at some point) go up to $10.

Tetris, the classic puzzle game of block arrangement, can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10.

Also available this week are PSP minis Family Games ($4) and M.O.Z.O.X Space Salvager ($3).
