Kinect for the Xbox 360Microsoft's latest hardware gizmo for the Xbox 360, the Kinect, is now available in stores in North America. The Kinect combines a microphone and two cameras collectively capable of recognizing motion and body position. The Kinect allows Xbox 360 owners to control games and menus (hence the recent Xbox 360 software update) using only their bodies or their voices. Available in a variety of bundles, the basic Kinect sensor costs $150 and includes a copy of Kinect Adventures (an assortment of mini-games controlled by Kinect.
