More Games Reach the PlayStation Store

Sony has released a variety of new downloadable games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP through the PlayStation Store today. Among today's selections are more Japanese games for the Original PlayStation, several games based on television shows and a shooter in which players face endless aliens. Read on for more details...
Alien Breed: Impact can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. This arcade-style shooter has players fending off endless swarms of aliens alone or with a friend.


Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - Cosmic Destruction can now be downloaded to the PSP for $30. A physical version of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - Cosmic Destruction also shipped to stores today Based on the television series, this game has players unlocking the ultimate alien heroes that coexist with Ben to engage in action and puzzle sequences.

Deadliest Warrior: The Game, based on the Spike TV series, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $10. This fighting game has players battling as one of eight historically accurate (sort-of) warriors. Spike Games claims that the previously released Xbox 360 version of Deadliest Warrior: The Game has been downloaded more than 225,000 times.

Magical Drop F is a game that was released for the original PlayStation in Japan. This puzzle game is in the original Japanese, but can be downloaded to North American PlayStation 3 units for $6.

Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty released for the original PlayStation in Japan, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $6. The game is in Japanese (some menus have been translated into English), but for those who can manage, this is a classic Japanese fighting game.

Five PSP Minis were also released today: Fort Commander: King's Gambit ($4.50), Urbanix ($5), Apache: Overkill ($3), Actual Crimes: Jack the Ripper ($4) and Shapo ($5).
