Capcom Reports Substantially Lower Net Income

| | Comments (0)
CapcomCapcom announced selected financial results for the six months ended September 30, 2010.
For the six month period ended September 30, 2010, Capcom reported net income of ¥1.784 billion (around $22 Million), compared to ¥2.967 billion in the same period the previous year. While Capcom credited Super Street Fighter IV and Dead Rising 2 with strong sales (Dead Rising 2 reportedly sold more than two million copies), it blamed currency exchange rates, the delay of Dead Rising 2 and underperformance of Lost Planet 2 for the lower net income results.
