Moonbase Alpha Available as a Free Download Through Steam

| | Comments (0)
NASA has been developing a massively multiplayer game (after a long, formal call for proposals) with The Army Game Studio and Virtual Heroes. Today, the developers released a proof of concept game through Steam called Moonbase Alpha. The game is available free of charge, and has players repairing a lunar settlement whose critical systems and oxygen supply have been damaged by a meteor strike. Presumably, if NASA continues with the project, this will be but one small component of the overall game.
