Capcom Reports Much Smaller Net Income

| | Comments (0)
CapcomCapcom announced selected financial results for its first financial quarter ended June 30, 2010:
For the quarter, Capcom reported net income of ¥213 million (around $2 million), compared to net income of ¥2.230 billion in the same quarter the previous year. Capcom blamed the result on lower-than-expected sales of Lost Planet 2 and the appreciation of the Yen resulting in unfavorable results from European and North American sales. The contribution of Capcom's arcade and mobile businesses was small compared to its consumer game business.
