Mad CatzPeripheral manufacturer Mad Catz announced its financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2010:
For the quarter, Mad Catz reported net income of $838,000, compared to a net loss in the same quarter the previous year of $3.689 million. For the year, the company reported net income of $4.463 million compared to a net loss in the previous year of $32.614 million.

Mad Catz noted that its results indicate that its restructuring was successful (cutting operating expenses by around 10%) without impacting adversely impacting profits.

Xbox 360 products accounted for more sales than any other platform (constituting nearly a third of sales), while controllers were the biggest sellers by category.
