Linden Lab Ousts CEO

Linden Lab, the company behind the persistent online space Second Life is furthering its restructuring efforts. Earlier this month, Linden Lab dumped 30% of the company's staff and focused on a browser-based version of the Second Life experience. Now, following the reported displeasure of investors with the company's stagnation, Mark Kingdon is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer. Philip Rosedale, founder of the company, is stepping in as interim CEO, while Chief Financial Officer Bob Komin will also serve as Chief Operating Officer.
