THQ Returns to Only Losing a Little Money

| | Comments (0)
THQTHQ reported its financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2010:
For the quarter, THQ reported a net loss of $10.398 million compared to a net loss of $96.874 million in the same quarter the previous year. For the full year, THQ reported a net loss of $9.017 million compared to a net loss in the previous financial year of $431.414 million.

Brian Farrell, THQ's President and Chief Executive Officer, argued that "In fiscal 2010, we achieved a successful turnaround," despite the fact that THQ has not returned to profitability. THQ did report a much smaller loss, and Farrell argued that it should be able to build three franchises (UFC, Darksiders and Red Faction) into a profitable business.
