SouthPeak Games Posts (Tiny) Third Quarter Profit

| | Comments (0)
SouthPeak GamesSouthPeak Interactive Corporation announced its financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended March 31, 2010:
For the quarter, SouthPeak reported net income of $192,140 compared to a net loss of $691,841 in the same quarter the previous year. SouthPeak intentionally limited its releases in the last quarter to "better align" their activities with the retail schedule and competition. While small, SouthPeak did, at least, manage to post a profit for the quarter.

SouthPeak also announced that it resolved litigation with CDV Software Entertainment, allowing it to release a substantial cash reserve it was holding in the event of an adverse judgment. SouthPeak also noted that sales of its My Baby games have exceeded one million units.
