Michael Griffith Shifts Positions and Pay at Activision Blizzard

Activision BlizzardMichael Griffith, formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of Activision Publishing, has stepped down from his former role but will remain Vice-Chairman of Activision Blizzard reporting to the company's Chief Executive Officer. He has also extended his employment contract (previously set to expire on June 30) through June 30, 2011 (his employment contract will automatically renew every year unless either party decides to terminate the agreement. Under the new contract, Griffith's base salary will be $250,000 per year, along with a discretionary bonus and stock options for 30,000 shares of common stock and 20,000 shares of restricted stock (all of which will vest on June 30, 2011.
