Lord of the Rings Online Takes the Ranger Oath

Turbine has launched the latest major update for its massively multiplayer online game Lord of the Rings Online. "Volume III: Allies of the King" begins with "Book 1: Oath of the Rangers," continuing the game's tale. The new plot elements begin in Rivendell, where Elrond must cope with a mysterious message from Galadriel. The update also brings back the Spring Festival (starting March 22) and adds more skirmish missions (including some for two players).
