AtariAtari announced selected financial data concerning its fiscal third quarter and nine-month period ended December 31, 2009:
For the nine-month period, Atari announced overall revenues of €92.5 million (around $126 million) compared to €93.6 million in the same period the prior fiscal year. While revenues were similar to the prior period, the origin of those revenues shifted. For this latest nine-month period, €78.7 million of revenues came from U.S. operations, while in the prior year only €64.5 million came from operations in the U.S. Atari credits the increase in U.S. revenues to the sale of several major releases and higher third-party distribution revenues.

Atari's president Jeff Lapin pointed out that Atari is now in a more stable cash position, and is now prepared to focus on expanding its publishing operations.

By Platform, 27% of revenues came from Xbox 360 games, 17% came from PlayStation 3 games and 15% came from PC games with other platforms making up the balance.
