EA Lowers Fiscal Year Expectations

Electronic ArtsElectronic Arts was forced to reduce its financial guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010, thanks to problematic December performance:
While the company attempted to wave its hands and distract investors with a variety of minor announcements today, the real news is the reduced fiscal year 2010 expectations. EA attributes the lowered expectations to "the overall packaged goods sector in Europe in December, and a product mix shift to lower margin distribution products in the December quarter, primarily in North America."
