THQ Announces New Licensing Agreement and Licensing Executive

THQTHQ has hired anew executive of licensing and merchandising, and also signed a licensing agreement with DreamWorks Animation:
THQ has hired Germaine Gioia as its Senior Vice President of licensing and merchandising. Gioia worked on licensing at Capcom for the last three years, and before that worked at THQ on similar projects.


THQ has also entered into a multi-year agreement with DreamWorks Animation SKG, granting THQ the rights to make games based on properties like Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, Puss in Boots and The Penguins of Madagascar.
