UbisoftUbisoft released selected financial results for the first half of its fiscal year ended September 30, 2009:
For the six month period, Ubisoft reported a net loss of €52.0 million (around $78 million), compared to net income of €24.0 million in the same period the prior year. Ubisoft blames its sharp drop in sales on the unfortunate state of the economy, although Ubisoft is extremely pleased with sales of Assassin's Creed II that will influence the next quarter's results.
