PlayStation 3 Adds Facebook Support with System Software Update

PlayStation 3Today, Sony launched the version 3.10 system software update for the PlayStation 3. The biggest feature of the update is PlayStation 3 Facebook support, following yesterday's addition of the service to Xbox Live. PlayStation 3 owners can't yet check Facebook from the PlayStation 3, but they can automate the sharing of PlayStation 3 trophies, store purchases and game events.
In addition to adding Facebook support, the version 3.10 update also improves photo viewing and access to the friends list for PlayStation 3 users.
