Gameloft Reports Improved Third Quarter Sales

| | Comments (0)
Mobile game publisher Gameloft reported selected financial results today for its fiscal third quarter ended September 30, 2009:
Gameloft reported consolidated sales of €30.1 million (around $45 million) compared to consolidated sales of €26.2 million in the same quarter the previous year. Gameloft noted that Europe comprises around 38% of revenues, while North America provides around 31% of revenues. Gameloft attributes the increase in revenues to its success with the Apple AppStore and its Java and Brew games.

Gameloft also noted that it is increasing its presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Gameloft hopes that by having more operators carry Gameloft's games, the company will experience substantially increased revenues.
