Activision Creates Sledgehammer Games and Hires Dead Space Guys to Hold the Hammer

Activision Publishing (part of Activision Blizzard) has hired two former Electronic Arts staff to executive positions. Both Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey worked at Visceral Games (formerly EA Redwood Shores) on Dead Space. Activision has created a new studio, dubbed "Sledgehammer Games" and Schofield will be Vice President and General Manager of the studio while Condrey will serve as Vice President and Chief Operation Officer. Sledgehammer Games is working on an unannounced game.
