Mad Catz Reports First Quarter Loss

| | Comments (0)
Mad CatzPeripheral manufacturer Mad Catz announced its financial results for its fiscal first quarter ended June 30, 2009:
For the quarter, Mad Catz reported a net loss of $0.996 million, compared to a net loss in the same quarter the previous year of $0.777 million. Mad Catz blamed much of this result on unfavorable currency exchange rates and weaker European sales. The company hopes that its upcoming release schedule, including a variety of specialty controllers, will help the company turn a profit in the net future.
