| | Comments (0)
THQTHQ has been in a long-standing dispute with JAKKS Pacific over the licensing agreement that allows THQ to produce wrestling games licensed by the WWE. This dispute recently went into arbitration, and (according to THQ) the arbitrator has established a payment rate to JAKKS Pacific that is 40% lower than the previous rate. As this rate is effective from July 1, 2006 through December 31, 2009, THQ expects to report a one-time gain of $23 million during its second fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2009.
