Take-Two Delays BioShock 2 and Lowers Financial Guidance

| | Comments (0)
Take-Two InteractiveTake-Two Interactive has lowered its financial guidance for its fiscal year ending October 31, 2009 due to a number of factors including a delay of the release of BioShock 2, sequel to BioShock.
Take-Two Interactive noted that the decision to delay BioShock 2 to its fiscal 2010 is the largest factor in the lower financial expectations, but also attributed the bad news to "reduced sales of catalog products and lower than anticipated initial retailer orders of new releases, due to a retail environment that is proving even more challenging than the Company's previous expectations."
