More Games Reach the PlayStation Store

A variety of new games have been released as downloads through the PlayStation Store:
Battlefield 1943 was released for the Xbox 360 yesterday and can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 for $15. The game offers four maps and multiplayer gameplay based on Battlefield 1942 (rebuilt using DICE's Frostbite engine), although only three of the maps are available initially. In the game, up to 24 players can compete to control World War II battlefields on foot or in various vehicles.


Buzz Jr. Robo Jam is a party game for up to four players that can be downloaded for the PlayStation 3 for $5. The game was previously released for the PlayStation 2

Samurai Warriors: State of War can now be directly downloaded to the PSP for $15, allowing players to battle as famous samurai.

Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol, originally released for the first PlayStation, can now be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $6. The game has players leading a two-man combat team through tactical situations.

XS Junior League Soccer is another original PlayStation game that can be downloaded to the PlayStation 3 or PSP for $6. It brings gamers five-on-five soccer action.

Ultimate Board Game Collection can be downloaded directly to the PSP for $10 and includes 5 classic board games.
