Bayer's Didget to Help DS Owners Monitor Blood Glucose Levels

| | Comments (0)
Bayer, the healthcare company, is planning on launching a DS-compatible device in Europe to help diabetic children monitor their glucose levels. Called the "Didget Meter," it connects directly to the DS. Intended for children aged five to 14, the device will help children check their blood glucose levels. It will also include an adventure game and collection of mini-games.
The device will also interact with an online web community. Kids will receive points from the Didget for regular testing habits and consistent results. These points can then be redeemed to "...purchase items in the games, unlock mini-games and customize their experience on Bayer's New Web Community."
