Ubisoft Reports Decent Fiscal Year Results
Ubisoft announced certain financial results for its full fiscal year ended March 31, 2009:
Ubisoft reported net income of €68.8 million (around $95 million) compared to net income in the prior year of €109.8 million.
Ubisoft attributed much of the change to the shift in its focus to include more casual games and distribution. As Ubisoft points out, casual games and distribution business have lower profit margins, but also lower expenses (and related risks).
