Take-Two Interactive Reports Quarterly Loss

| | Comments (0)
Take-Two InteractiveTake-Two Interactive announced its financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2009:
For the quarter, Take-Two Interactive reported a net loss of $10.080 million, compared to net income of $98.222 million in the same quarter the prior year. If that discrepancy seems enormous, it's because Grand Theft Auto IV was released in Take-Two's second quarter last year.

76% of Take-Two's revenues came from North America, and 45% of revenues from the quarter came from sales on the Xbox 360. That was largely driven by Take-Two Interactive's release of The Lost and the Damned downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV.
