DSi Available in North America

NintendoNintendo has launched the latest hardware for the DS, dubbed the DSi, today. Similar to the DS Lite, the DSi comes in a thin clamshell in either blue or black and is available for $170. The DSi is similar in function to the DS Lite, but has two cameras to allow users to take and modify photos. Also launching today is the DSi Shop and a variety of downloadable titles:
The DSi store will allow DSi owners to download a browser to access the internet, and those who purchase the DSi and connect to the DSi Shop in the next six months will receive 1,000 points ($10) good toward the purchase of DSi applications. The first DSi downloadable titles are:


    Art Style: Aquia - a puzzle game in which players match colored blocks


    Bird & Beans - a game in which players catch beans using an elastic tongue

    Brain Age Express: Math - a math focused version of the Brain Age game

    Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face - this software allows DSi owners to use the devices as a card trick prop

    WarioWare: Snapped! lets players participate in a variety of microgames based around the DSi camera
